About the Facilitator
Yawa Hansen-Quao is a certified business protocol consultant, business strategist and leadership coach specialized in providing customized business support, capacity-building and talent management services to local enterprises and foreign individuals/companies establishing business presence in Ghana. With over 12 years’ experience, Yawa has worked with international companies such as Barclays Bank, United Nations, Coca-Cola and Dow Chemicals. Yawa is also passionate about the development of women leaders and founded the nonprofit Leading Ladies’ Network to support women from the developing world with programs and resources that enhance their leadership capacity.
In 2012, Yawa authored the book Daughters of Zelophehad; a leadership guidebook for emerging women leaders and served for three years on the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Foundation board from 2013. As a 2016 Eisenhower fellow, Yawa currently serves on the Eisenhower Fellowship’s Global Network Council and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Ashesi University; a pioneer liberal arts university in Ghana.
